At 21st Century Fox Studios Daniel directed the use of creative stereography for multiple films in the Ice Age franchise, Rio, The Peanuts Movie. Over the past decade he developed and led teams in pioneering groundbreaking 3D experiences ranging from feature films to location-based entertainment installations.

Most recently Daniel was integral in conceiving a virtual production pipeline for Blue Sky Studios while also prototyping virtual reality applications. Throughout his career as an innovator he was awarded patents for workflows and tools he developed while working on a wide range of films.

  • Created and managed a team devoted to the exploration of virtual reality and real-time technologies to discover the next marketable form of entertainment, using Blue Sky Studios properties.

  • Initiated and managed all VR/AR/XR development resulting in a virtual production pipeline. Liaised with multiple departments to advance traditional linear pipelines into real time cyclical workflows.

  • Blazed a new path at Blue Sky Studios regarding all immersive cinematic media extending past stereography. Focused on virtual reality and theme park 4D rides (LBE) for all upcoming XR development.

  • Identified and eliminated critical shot production issues, relieving chaos before spillover into multiple teams.
